The Punggol Heritage Trail — a 1.3-kilometre linear park — is slated to open progressively from end-2025, bringing new life to one of Punggol’s most historic routes. Designed with lush greenery, natural contours and conserved mature trees, the trail preserves the rustic charm of Old Punggol Road, once the gateway to Singapore’s very first public zoo and bird park.
When completed, the trail will feature family-friendly play areas and seamless links to key destinations such as the Punggol Digital District, Punggol Waterway Park, and the Punggol Promenade Punggol Point Walk, creating a scenic and meaningful journey through Punggol’s past and present.
Phase 2 of Punggol Heritage Trail is expected to be completed by end 2026.
